A clear agreement for your portfolio

The service

Mark Muriuki Portfolios converts customer-supplied professional information into a hosted portfolio using the selected template. The customer can preview the exact content before payment. Publication begins after M-Pesa confirms the required payment.

Your content

You retain ownership of your text, images, links, and professional information. You grant us permission to process and display that content solely to operate the portfolio service. You must have the right to publish submitted content and must not submit unlawful, deceptive, infringing, or harmful material.

Accuracy

You are responsible for reviewing names, claims, results, testimonials, links, and other facts before publication. The service must not be used to fabricate qualifications, client endorsements, employment, or project outcomes.

Hosting term and renewal

The initial KSh 2,500 payment includes portfolio setup and 12 months of managed hosting from publication. Continued managed hosting costs KSh 1,000 for each additional 12-month term. A 30-day grace period follows expiry; after that, the public portfolio may be made temporarily unavailable while all customer content remains preserved for renewal.

Access and fair-use updates

A private management link is issued after publication. Treat it like a password. Customers may draft changes without a counting limit while hosting is active. Publishing is limited to 20 updates per calendar month, and replacement image uploads are limited to 5 per calendar month. A portfolio may display up to 21 images within the 50 MB fair-use allowance. Limits protect service availability and do not include manual editing by Mark Muriuki.

Support and manual work

Technical support covers access, payment, publication, and service defects. Copywriting, data entry, redesign, custom development, and done-for-you content updates are separate paid services unless explicitly included in a written offer.

Acceptable use

• No malware, impersonation, phishing, harassment, or illegal services.
• No content that violates privacy, intellectual-property, or publicity rights.
• No attempts to disrupt, scrape abusively, bypass payment, or access another customer's management area.

Availability

We design the service for reliable publication but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance, provider outages, internet failures, and events outside reasonable control may temporarily affect access. We will use reasonable efforts to recover paid portfolios.
